Well, a New Year has arrived and with it my first attempt at blogging. No, I don't live in a town named Fairacre. I took the name "Fairacre" from one of my favorite book series by the English author Miss Read. The Fairacre books follow the life of a English village schoolteacher soon after WWII. The village of Fairacre is a lovely place to visit in my mind and because it has given me so much pleasure I call my house "Fairacre". It's just a regular house but we love living here. We are a regular family but we do our best to live life well. Welcome to our everyday adventures; welcome to Life at Fairacre!
